Strong Demands in South America: Opportunities for Chinese Heavy-Duty Trucks

In recent years, the demand for heavy-duty trucks in South America has continued to rise. Benefiting from accelerated mineral resource development and infrastructure construction, countries such as Chile, Peru, and Colombia have seen a significant increase in demand for efficient and durable heavy-duty trucks. The data shows that by 2025, China's heavy-duty truck exports to Latin America will increase by more than 27% year-on-year, with some South American countries experiencing growth exceeding 50%. The market share of Chinese brand trucks in Latin America has increased from approximately 10.8% in 2015 to approximately 22% in 2025, and is expected to reach 40% by 2030.

In this setting, the Shacman heavy duty truck, with its excellent quality and comprehensive after-sales service, has won a good reputation in the South American market, and brand recognition has been increasing year by year. According to industry data, the overseas orders of shacman heavy duty truck continued to increase at the beginning of 2026, with nearly 7,000 trucks ordered in just the first 20 days of the year, with particularly strong sales growth in Central and South America.
